The world largest school


First day of class for each new student can be an incredible experience. Try to imagine it was studied as one 
of the 40,000 students who entered school in the world.Guinness World Records for the award given to the City Montessori School in Lucknow, India with 39,437 students enrolled in the academic year 2010-2011. 

The school says enrollment has risen above 45,000. The school has 2,500 teachers, computer 3700, 1,000 classrooms and one of the eleven most formidable cricket team.City Montessori School was opened by his wife Bharti Gandhi and Jagdish in 1959 with loans 300 rupees (equivalent Rp58.000 at the moment) and only has five students.Now the school has grown to over 20 locations in Lucknow, the state capital of Uttar Pradesh, and is famous for its exam results and international exchange programs.
  
 "The phenomenal growth of our school is a reflection of our efforts to please parents through service to their children," said Gandhi, 75, who is still serving in school management."Our students have outstanding academic results every year and get incredible global attention. Obtain Guinness record is very encouraging to us, but this is not everything," he told AFP.The students, aged between 3-17 years old, all in uniform and each classroom holds about 45 students, but all students in the school were never collected together because there is no place large enough to accommodate them.CMS, which do not receive funds from the government, imposes costs 1,000 rupees (around Rp180 thousand) per month for the cost of the younger students, and 2,500 rupees (around Rp450 thousand) per month for seniors."In such a large school, there are many advantages, one of which is that you can get acquainted with a lot of friends around the location of the school that we have," said Ritika Ghosh (14), who were enrolled in CMS for two years, told AFP."But because the school is so big, it takes a lot of effort to get attention. 

So you are just one of the thousands of students who are learning."There's definitely more of a challenge and competition, which in turn prepares us for real life."A student named Tanmay Tiwari (16) says that the school's large size makes it more confident."I used to be very shy, but the school has given me confidence," he told AFP. "Now I go to college and joined the team arguing in a national competition."School size compared only with ambition idealist, the students are taught about the philosophy of universal peace and globalism under the motto of 'Jai Jagat' (Victory to the World).With students who are under fierce pressure to get good exam results, sports are not always the top priority, but cricket coach Raju Singh Chauhan said that he considers the selection of the team is still complicated."To get students gifted in sports between 45,000 more students will be a big problem," he said."For this reason we held a competition to unearth talent antarcabang kids the best and finally we get a bigger picture and eleven of our best people to get in the team."CMS was first held the title as the largest school in the world in 2005, when it had 29,212 students, beating the previous record holder, Rizal High School in Manila, Philippines, which has 19,738 students. 

The alumni of the school include Ushhan Gundevia, an executive banker at Goldman Sachs, and Prakash Gupta, a senior UN diplomat in New York, as well as the Harvard graduate and some of the leading surgeons and scientists."The school is an inspiration not only for students, but also for anyone, anywhere who wants to make a positive difference," said Craig Glenday, editor of Guinness World Records, told AFP from London."The school understands very well that teaching is the most sacred profession, and from these humble origins to become the largest, and one of the most respected educational institutions in the world, it is a story that is really inspiring and amazing."
