Evidently Galaxy Tab wasn't copied ipad

Apple may win against Samsung in patent war in the United States, but not in the UK. UK Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal and declare Apple tablet Galaxy Tab does not infringe a design patent iPad, Thursday (10/18/2012).

British court decision applies to the entire territory of Europe and prohibit continuation patent legal disputes between Apple and Samsung in the European region.

Samsung welcomed the victory in England. "We continue to believe that Apple is not the first company to design a tablet with a rectangular shape and rounded corners," Samsung wrote in a statement.

Apple declined to comment on the victory of Samsung in the UK.

Earlier, in July, the UK High Court also stated that the Galaxy Tab is not cheating iPad design. Apple asked to make a statement of apology on the official website and in selected newspapers.

By law, Apple could appeal again to a higher court, the Supreme Court of England. However, there has been no indication that Apple will do it.
