Sandy Storm kills 13 people in the U.S

Thirteen people were killed in the attack 'super storm' Sandy on the U.S. east coast.

Sandy brought winds with hurricane force, and resulted in severe flooding and crippling electricity and other facilities.

Sandy also resulted in the overflow of sea water to New York City, soaking subway lines and tunnels and making the Lower Manhattan like a ghost town.
